We’re all in a waiting room of some sort – between where we’re at and where we’re headed. It’s how you respond in those waiting rooms that determines where you’ll go.

SERVOLUTION – 05.07.12

On Monday, May 7th we have a SERVOLUTION opportunity for you.  We will be helping FAYETTE CARES with a food distribution that will help feed nearly 80 families in Fayette County.  We will meet up at WALMART on the Market side at 10AM and go to the church to sort the donated food items.  We need 3 pick-up trucks and 8-10 volunteers for this opportunity.  If you are interested in helping with this opportunity, please contact us at help@therevolutionchurch.me.  

 PICNIC IN THE PARK

Join us on Sunday, May 20 for a PICNIC IN THE PARK.  Immediately following the Sunday morning worship experience we will go to THE OAKLANDS park for a time of fellowship and games.  The church will provide cold drinks, water and dessert.  You will need to bring or pick up something for your family to eat.  If you need driving directions to the park, click here.

In just a few days we will gather at Revolution Church to celebrate the greatest day in history – EASTER.  This year’s EASTER WORSHIP CELEBRATION is gonna be HUGE.  We are pulling out all the stops to create an amazing experience to help those who are far from God find a revolutionary life in Christ.

As we prepare to celebrate this day, we need your help.  We need you to do two VERY IMPORTANT things.

1. PRAY – Pray for those who have been invited.  Pray for those who will be leading in the worship service.  Pray for lives to be changed by JESUS.
2. INVITE – Seize this opportunity to invite everyone you know.  The truth is that 8 out of 10 people would come to church this Easter, if someone would just invite them.  Be somebody’s someone this Easter.

Easter is gonna be AWESOME.  You don’t want to miss it!

2. USE YOUR PHONE – Scroll through your phone book and send a text or make a call to that friend that has been on your mind.  There is no telling where that conversation might lead.  It just might lead them to JESUS.
3. USE FACEBOOK – Your Facebook status is seen by hundreds of people everyday, which means you have some serious inviting potential at your disposal.  All you have to do is write a simple message inviting all your friends to worship with you on EASTER (04.08.12).  Be sure to include our website – www.betherevolution.com.

Go ahead and make that INVITE right now!  EASTER is gonna be HUGE, and you definitely don’t want to miss the opportunity to impact someone’s life forever.

This SATURDAY is the day for the EASTER EGG HUNT!  As we prepare for this weekend, we need you to do three things.

First, we need you to BE THERE.  The FUN starts at 1PM.  If you are helping set-up, then you need to be there at 12 NOON.  Second, we need you to INVITE your friends.  You have three days left to get the word out to your neighbors, co-workers and friends.  So, BE BOLD and INVITE.  Third, we need you to PRAY.  Pray for the influence that Holy Spirit Lutheran, West Junior High and our church will have as we work together to serve the families of our community.

This year’s EASTER EGG HUNT will take place on Saturday, March 24 at 1 p.m. at West Junior High School.  There will be food, games, prizes and thousands of Easter Eggs to hunt.  You don’t want to miss this!

In order to make this event a success we need your help.  We need donations of cupcakes for the cupcake walk (2 dozen per person), fillers for eggs (candy, stickers, small toys, etc.) and refreshments (cookies & lemonade).  Please bring all fillers this Sunday, March 18.  We also need several volunteers to help man games, hide eggs and help with set up and clean up.  If you would like to volunteer, please sign up here.
